Lilburn was incorporated in 1910, named for railroad superintendent Lilburn Trigg Myers, and the CSX line still runs through Old Town today. The city saw its big residential boom in the 1980s and 90s, when neighborhood after neighborhood filled with families drawn by good schools and easy commutes to Atlanta. The split-level and ranch-style homes from that era — primarily on the north side of the CSX tracks — are exactly the homes we work on most in Lilburn.
These 1980s and 90s homes are now at the age where original plumbing is showing its years: water heaters well past their service life, polybutylene supply lines that need replacement, and bathroom fixtures from the era of mauve and almond color schemes ready for an upgrade. We handle all of these updates with the experience that comes from working in these exact homes for decades.
Lilburn is also seeing newer townhome construction around Old Town, with prices ranging from the mid-$200s to over $400,000. These newer builds need expert installation and ongoing service, and we provide that with the same care we bring to a 40-year-old ranch off Killian Hill Road. Whatever your Lilburn home, we're here to help.
